CalPERS' ''Web Self Service'' Solution Developed by Delegata Receives Prestigious National Award.

A Delegata solution was selected for the prestigious "2003 Recognition Awards for Outstanding Achievement in the Field of Information Technology" at the annual NASCIO conference. The National Association of State Chief Information Officers (NASCIO) received 133 nominations from 33 different States for this year's awards program. The Delegata solution developed for the California Public Employees' Retirement System (CalPERS) was selected and awarded for delivering a cost-effective, innovative government to government transaction based service.

The Automated Communication Exchange System (ACES) developed by Delegata for CalPERS won the "NASCIO Recognition Award" in the "Digital Government: Government to Government" category and the Member Self Service Suite (MSS) received recognition as a first runner up in the "Digital Government: Government to Citizen" award category. MSS provides 1.3 million CalPERS members with immediate secure access to personal retirement and health benefits information. Manual processes and call center operations have largely shifted to the online self service applications, reducing the cost of transacting business for CalPERS and increasing customer satisfaction levels for their members.
