CalCPA image campaign promotes California CPAs.


CalCPA radio spots recently hit the airwaves. The 60-second spot features a testimonial from a small-business owner, promoting CPAs as trusted business and financial advisers who "help California companies grow and families build financial security."

At the end of each spot, listeners are encouraged to use the "Ask a CPA (Computer Press Association, Landing, NJ) An earlier membership organization founded in 1983 that promoted excellence in computer journalism. Its annual awards honored outstanding examples in print, broadcast and electronic media. The CPA disbanded in 2000. " resource on www.calcpa.org.

Ads ran on commercial stations in the Fresno, Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850. , Sacramento, San Diego San Diego (săn dēā`gō), city (1990 pop. 1,110,549), seat of San Diego co., S Calif., on San Diego Bay; inc. 1850. San Diego includes the unincorporated communities of La Jolla and Spring Valley. Coronado is across the bay.  and San Francisco Bay Area “Bay Area” redirects here. For other uses, see Bay Area (disambiguation).

The San Francisco Bay Area, colloquially known as the Bay Area or The Bay
 markets in May, June and September, and will run again in October. The spots will also run January-April 2004,

Additionally, sponsorship spots run for 10 to 15 seconds on National Public Radio stations in these same markets.

In Sacramento, the ad is featured on KFBK-AM 1530, KHTK-AM 1140, KXJZ-FM 88.9 and KQED-FM 89.3.

In San Francisco San Francisco (săn frănsĭs`kō), city (1990 pop. 723,959), coextensive with San Francisco co., W Calif., on the tip of a peninsula between the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay, which are connected by the strait known as the Golden , listen to KGO-AM 810, KCBS-AM 740, KQED-FM 88.1, 88.3 and 88.9.

In Los Angeles, the ad is on KABC-AM 790, KLSX-FM 97.1, KNX-AM 1070, KRLA-AM 870, KCRW-FM 89.9 and KPCC-FM 89.3.

In San Diego, tune to KOGO-AM 600, KFMB-AM 760, KCEO-AM 1000 and KPB-SFM 89.5.

In Fresno, listen to KMPH-FM 107.5 and KVPR-FM 89.3 and 89.1.
