Unintended Consequences is a novel by author John Ross, first published in 1996 by Accurate Press.
 of its practice privilege implementation, the California Board of Accountancy took several recent actions to provide relief to out-of-state CPAs who have experienced difficulty complying with California's new law.

At its March 17 meeting, the CBA See Capital Builder Account.  voted to support CalCPA-sponsored legislation, AB 1868 (Bermudez), which now contains the provisions approved by the CBA. Download a CBA Special Notice on Practice Privilege at www.dca.ca.gov/cba/notices/pp-4.pdf.

AB 1868 was heard by the Assembly Business & Professions Committee April 4 and passed on a 9-0 vote. At press time, the bill was headed to the Assembly Committee on Appropriations.
