At its March 17 meeting, the CBA voted to support CalCPA-sponsored legislation, AB 1868 (Bermudez), which now contains the provisions approved by the CBA. Download a CBA Special Notice on Practice Privilege at www.dca.ca.gov/cba/notices/pp-4.pdf.

AB 1868 was heard by the Assembly Business & Professions Committee April 4 and passed on a 9-0 vote. At press time, the bill was headed to the Assembly Committee on Appropriations.
