a one-week short course entitled en·ti·tle tr.v. en·ti·tled, en·ti·tling, en·ti·tles 1. To give a name or title to. 2. To furnish with a right or claim to something: "Introductory Short Course on Polymers and Coatings" during the week of July 17-21, 2006. The short course will cover many aspects of coatings technology including resin chemistry, pigments and fillers, additives, VOCs, application aspects, and rheology with an emphasis on liquid coatings. It will include daily laboratory sessions during which participants will prepare and test polymers and coatings. A mix of academic and industry experts will serve as instructors for the course to provide equal emphasis on both the fundamental and application aspects of polymers and coatings. The registration fee for the course is $975 through June 26, and $1075 after that date. The fee includes course handouts and lunch Monday through Thursday.
