Cahners names Ellen Romanow director of custom publishing.


NEWTON, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 8, 1996--Ellen K. Romanow rejoins Cahners Publishing Company as director of custom publishing, Cahners Chairman and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  Robert Robert, Henry Martyn 1837-1923.

Romanow, who has spent most of her career at Cahners, returns to Cahners after a short period at Ziff-Davis where she was director of custom publishing.

In a newly created role at Cahners, Romanow will focus on company-wide custom publishing projects, as well as special contract publishing projects where Cahners provides other companies with their own internal and external publications. In her new role she will also assist Cahners' publishers in producing special supplements, and work with existing Cahners supplement managers and train magazine sales people.
