Cahners' Media Division Names Michael L. Roggero Group Publisher.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 15, 2001

Cahners' Media Division, a division of Cahners Business Information, today announced Michael L. Roggero has been named group publisher. He was previously chief operating officer Chief Operating Officer (COO)

The officer of a firm responsible for day-to-day management, usually the president or an executive vice-president.
 at Cahners' subsidiary eLogic Corp.

"Michael is a bold strategist with an exceptionally strong performance orientation," said Tad Smith, president, Media Division. "His expertise and wide range of experience will be invaluable in helping to grow the businesses he will oversee in the Media Division."

Roggero will have responsibility for the Information Services Group in the Media Division. He will oversee:
-- MarketCast, Inc., the premier market research company for the theatrical,
TV, and video industries, which provides the most accurate and actionable
information to entertainment marketers.

-- 411 Publishing Co., the leading publisher of market-specific production and
creative services directories for the entertainment industries.

-- Variety Media Publications Ltd., the London-based leading publisher of
international directories of production and creative services for the
entertainment industry.


Roggero joined eLogic Corp., the Los Angeles-based application service provider of Web-based content management, in October. Prior to that, he was chief financial officer and executive vice president of operations at eMIND.COM (1) (Computer Output Microfilm) Creating microfilm or microfiche from the computer.
