Cahill named president of Olin's Winchester Division.


STAMFORD, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 10, 1995--Olin Corporation today announced the appointment of Douglas J. Cahill as president of its Winchester Division, headquartered in East Alton, Ill, effective July 1, 1995.

Cahill began his career with Olin's Chemicals Division in 1984, as a sales representative in Atlanta. In 1991, he was named general manager of the division's worldwide Pool Businesses, where he successfully strengthened the market position of their leading global brands and improved returns. His other Olin assignments include a series of key sales and marketing management positions in the company's chemicals operations, including: national sales director, industrial and specialty chemicals sales; marketing manager for chloralkali; and marketing manager of liquid and dry caustic soda caustic soda: see sodium hydroxide.
