Timothy Joel "Tim" Cahill (born December 6, 1979 in Sydney, Australia) [1]
 faced a British judge after being extradited from Australia.

Sean Cahill Sean is a Hurler player from Laois in Ireland.

The 28-year-old is accused of attacking a man in a fight outside a cab rank A cab rank is a primarily British English term for the United States English term "taxi stand", that being a queueing area where taxicabs queue to await passengers.

Cahill was taken straight to court after his flight landed on Tuesday and was remanded in jail until a further appearance onJune 12.

The Metropolitan Police have been working with Australian counterparts to find Cahill since he vanished in 2005.

Cahill, an amateur footballer, was arrested in Sydney by NewSouth Wales Police on March 9 at the request ofUKauthorities.

His extradition was then approved by justice minister David Johnston David Johnston can refer to more than one person:

 on April 11 and Cahill was remanded in Sydney's Parklea Prison while the extradition process was arranged.

Cahill had allegedly been in Bromley nightclub Delano's on the evening of the incident The victim received nerve damage to one of his eyes and, despite the best efforts of hospital specialists, he lost the sight.

The 28-year-old man from Orpington also lost his trade, as well as having to go through extensive dental treatment.

Cahill, who had been living in Bromley, was once a promising goalkeeper for Sydney football teamParramattaPower.

A 2004 article in Australian newspaper The Age said he was planning to settle permanently in the UK and was set to join the police force and begin training in January 2005.

Chief Superintendent Charles Griggs, the borough commander for Bromley police said: "If an individual doesn't answer their bail or fails to turn up at court, we don't just forget about them.

"We regularly review all of our outstanding wanted people and implement a plan of action to arrest them.

"We have had significant success doing this and will continue to target absconders, in partnership with our law enforcement colleagues around theworld.

"The criminal justice processmust have the opportunity to run its course if people are to retain confidence in it
