Cafaro Honored as PLANSPONSOR's Retirement Plan Advisor of the Year.

GREENWICH, Conn. -- This afternoon, at the 401(k) SUMMIT in Orlando, Florida The city of Orlando is a major city in central Florida and is the county seat of Orange County, Florida. According to the 2000 census, the city population was 185,951. A 2006 U.S. , Nevin Adams, Editor-in-Chief of PLANSPONSOR magazine named Dorann Cafaro as the 2006 PLANSPONSOR Retirement Plan Advisor of the Year.

Cafaro, of The Cafaro Group, a member firm of National Retirement Partners, located in Little Silver, New Jersey, was selected from over 130 nominations by retirement plan advisors, retirement plan providers and plan sponsors across the nation.

"The retirement security of millions of Americans depends on employer-sponsored programs, and most of those programs today rely on the skills and presence of a financial advisor," noted Adams. "This award recognizes the contributions of the nation's best financial advisors in helping make retirement security a reality for workers across the nation."

In bestowing the award, Adams, who also serves as Dean of the PLANSPONSOR Institute, acknowledged Cafaro's contributions to both plan sponsors and participants - increasing participation and deferrals at plans though working with participants and her clients are eager to tell of her commitment to the profession to which she has dedicated nearly 30 years.

Cafaro's clients attest not only to her passion for working with retirement plans and participants but also to her extensive knowledge of various plan designs. Although most of her work currently is with 401(k) plans, nearly a third of the plan assets Cafaro works with currently are defined benefit plans--and her working knowledge of various plan options has been particularly critical in recent months as her clients evaluate their options.

"The secret to Dorann's success is no secret at all," noted Adams, "and it is obvious in even the most casual conversation about the profession to which she has dedicated nearly 30 years." "She cares," says one client, "and it shows."

In addition to receiving the Retirement Plan Advisor of the Year award, Cafaro was also part of PLANSPONSOR's listing of some of the nation's most successful financial advisors. Those advisors, located around the nation, were recognized in PLANSPONSOR's December 2005 issue; they represent nearly $70 billion under advisement Deliberation; consultation.
