Caesar Systems Appoints Alexander Jok as Client Services Manager for Shell E & P.

Alex brings 14 years of experience to Caesar Systems in business and economics that upstream leaders find critical as they ramp up E & P financial investments around the world

HOUSTON -- Caesar Systems has appointed Alexander Jok as client services manager for Shell E & P in its Houston-based operations. His primary responsibility will be mentoring and coaching members of the Shell E & P team on use of the PetroVR Toolsuite in connection with integrative business planning for its future oil and gas development investments.

Alex Jok brings 14 years of oil and gas industry experience to his new role, primarily as petroleum economist, business strategist and field development planning specialist. He began his career in the oil and gas industry with PETRONAS Carigali Sdn. Bhd., the national oil company of Malaysia. Jok joined Caesar Systems from Decision Strategies, Inc. where he served as a senior consultant and became especially adept at implementing the Caesar Systems Petroleum Ventures & Risk (PetroVR) [R] Toolsuite for super major oil and gas exploration and production companies.

Alex Jok has extensive, worldwide experience that includes special focus in areas of business, development planning and economics that E&P leaders find critical as they ramp up their E&P financial investments around the world. Specifically, Alexander Jok has extensive experience and specializes in complex, multi-party fiscal regime evaluations; development modeling for unconventional and prospective ventures; large portfolio evaluations both country-specific and multi-regional; as well as integrated onshore-offshore oil and natural gas developments.

Jok earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics from Indiana University and earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Phoenix. He is a member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers.

Jok co-authored the article "Improving Upstream Forecasts," which was published in the October 2007 issue of Oil & Gas Financial Journal. He also co-authored and presented the paper SPE 37936 entitled "The Change in Attitude Towards New Technology and the Impact on Project Economics," at the Society of Professional Engineers, Hydrocarbon Economics and Evaluation Symposium, Dallas, Texas, USA, March 1997.
