Cadwalader Recruits Three Leading Special Counsels.


NEW YORK -- Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft LLP, one of the world's leading international law firms, announced the recent hiring of Special Counsels Michael Anglin, Christopher Mirick, and Gary Ticoll, all resident in the New York office.

Michael Anglin, who joined the Global Finance Department, concentrates his practice in real estate finance, acquisitions, dispositions, and leasing. He represents investment and commercial banks, developers and other owners, investors, government agencies, corporate tenants, and others in connection with mezzanine and mortgage financing, ground leasing, space leasing, financing and structuring of limited liability companies and partnerships, buying and selling real estate, and the restructuring of debt facilities. He represents debtors, creditors, acquirers, landlords, and equity holders across a wide array of industries. In 2005 and 2006, he was named one of the "Massachusetts Rising Stars" by Law & Politics and Boston Magazine. He served as the co-chair of the Bankruptcy Law Section of the Boston Bar Association The Boston Bar Association (BBA) is a volunteer non-governmental organization that traces its origins to meetings convened by John Adams, the lawyer who provided pro bono representation to the British soldiers prosecuted for the Boston Massacre and went on to become the 2nd  from 2004-2006, and in 2003, he received a special achievement award from the Bankruptcy Law Section in recognition of his pro bono efforts.

Mr. Mirick is the co-author with Professor Lynn M. LoPucki Lynn M. LoPucki is the Security Pacific Bank Professor of Law at the UCLA School of Law.
