Cadre to strengthen OO leadership with solutions from Westmount; Westmount tools & technologies to accelerate IS market penetration.


PROVIDENCE, R.I.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 14, 1995--Cadre Technologies Inc. today announces it has agreed to merge Westmount Technology BV of Delft, The Netherlands with Cadre.

Westmount's tools, technologies, and assets will be incorporated with Cadre. This initiative will add a new and powerfully integrated CASE environment for RDBMS-based applications to Cadre's industry-leading array of software development solutions and services. Combining the technology from Westmount's product families with the comprehensive solutions and services from Cadre will strengthen Cadre's leadership in the object-oriented marketplace as well as accelerate its penetration in the IS market.
