Cadre Technologies to OEM GlobeRanger Technology for Delivering Voice-Activated RFID Supply Chain Solutions.


RICHARDSON, Texas Richardson is a suburb in Dallas County and Collin County, Texas. Cadre is leveraging GlobeRanger's iMotion platform to rapidly develop and extend its existing suite of supply chain offerings to take advantage of emerging RFID technologies. Solutions developed on the iMotion platform will be tightly integrated into Cadre's Cadence Fulfillment, a unified enterprise software solution for third-party fulfillment and logistics companies that couples order management processes with warehouse and inventory operations. Today, Cadre's supply chain applications are voice-enabled through its Cadence Mobile Logistics architecture/technology. With the GlobeRanger partnership, Cadre plans to have RFID offerings available fourth quarter of this year.

Using a voice-activated RFID system, workers in a warehouse can initiate an RFID tag-reading station or dock door for shipping and receiving processes. Voice capabilities can be used for directing readers to identify tagged inventory, reconcile RFID data against ASNs and instruct in·struct

 workers on where to place the pallets or cases. With voice activation, workers no longer have to manually look up the location of where to place the shipment. If pallets are incomplete, the system can verbally notify the worker, who can immediately deal with exceptions.
