Cadre Technologies Partners With Tom Zosel Associates to Integrate Labor Management Software with Warehouse Management Software.

Cadre's Cadence Software System Now Provides Cost Advantages Through Labor Tracking Tools

DENVER -- Cadre Technologies is making managing warehouse operations even more cost-effective by offering new labor management capabilities, training and consulting. Through a partnership with Tom Zosel Associates, Ltd. (TZA), Cadre is integrating TZA's ProTrack[R] labor management software with Cadre's Cadence warehouse management system.

"Labor management has become a base requirement for running a cost-effective distribution operation because labor costs account for 50 to 65 percent of a company's total distribution spending," said Paul Schweet, vice president of TZA. "In fact, we've found that when warehouses aren't using labor management software, costs are typically 25 to 40 percent higher."

With the addition of ProTrack to Cadence, Cadre's customers can increase productivity and employee retention, reduce labor costs and improve overall business while gaining substantial savings in operating costs. The partnership between Cadre and TZA means Cadre's Cadence is a comprehensive solution incorporating warehouse management software with labor management capabilities.

TZA is a leading supply chain consulting firm delivering management consulting, engineering, technology and human capital solutions to assist companies in achieving world-class customer service and a least-cost operating position within their supply chain. TZA's ProTrack is a state-of-the-art system that accurately calculates work duration, tracks associate time against standards and provides proactive management tools. The result is real-time data, giving management the information they need to make decisions quickly, providing potential labor savings of 25 to 40 percent.

"Cadre's dedication to improving our customers' bottom lines will always be a priority," said Joe Caston, president and chief executive officer of Cadre Technologies. "Our collaboration with TZA allows us to enhance our warehouse management software with labor management tools that track labor costs, letting companies do more by driving efficiency into their workforce."
