Cadiz Inc. Adds Senior Communications Professional to Executive Management Team.

SANTA MONICA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sept. 26, 2001

Cadiz CADIZ - Canadian Air Defense Identification Zone Inc., (Nasdaq:CLCI CLCI - Dichlorodimethyl Ether), Chief Executive Officer, Keith Brackpool today announced the appointment of Cynthia A. Coulter as Senior Vice President Corporate Communications and Investor Relations.

Ms. Coulter brings over 20 years of experience to this new position. She has broad experience in corporate, government and communications agency work in a wide variety of industries including natural resources, energy, waste management, healthcare, technology and telecommunications.

"As Cadiz continues to grow both domestically and internationally, Cynthia's experience and understanding of the importance of the many facets of an integrated communications function will be invaluable to our management team," said Brackpool.

In her capacity as a corporate executive, communications agency head, and through her own consulting business, she has consulted for a number of international corporations. She has worked with domestic and foreign governments, the investment community and international media.

Ms. Coulter previously held the positions of Vice President, Corporate Communications for WellPoint Heath Networks Inc. -- a Fortune 500 company and with Global Crossing Ltd. an integrated telecommunications company.
