Cadence President John Patton Chairs Project Management Research Program Working Session at PMI Latin America Congress.

CANCUN, Mexico -- Cadence president and CEO John Patton chaired a panel of research experts this week at the Project Management Institute's Latin America Congress in Cancun, Mexico. The panel addressed practical solutions to problems initiating project management in small and medium enterprises.

"Small- and medium-sized companies feel pressure to implement enterprise project management solutions to improve processes, but often fail to realize the benefits due to the increased complexity that comes with it," says Patton. The Cancun panel is the second in a series of four on the subject of project complexity, the remaining sessions to be held at PMI Congresses in Asia and Europe throughout 2008.
