The Cadence platforms and products for which OpenAccess 2.2 support will be offered include the Encounter(R) digital IC design and the Virtuoso(R) custom design platforms, along with DFM and Allegro Package Designer for IC package design products. The OA 2.2 supported software releases for these platforms and products are available now and Cadence is working with select customers to support their adoption.

"The Cadence Virtuoso platform is our preferred environment for SoC chip integration and finishing of mixed-signal designs," said Philippe Magarshack, group vice president of FTM FTM Free Throws Made (basketball)

About OpenAccess Initiative

The OpenAccess Coalition is a community-driven initiative formed to enable the creation of tightly integrated flows involving best-in-class commercial and proprietary tools and intellectual property (IP), necessary to support design of today's complex chips. This is done through an open standard data access interface (API) and reference database implementation supporting that API. The OpenAccess Coalition operates under the governance and bylaws The rules and regulations enacted by an association or a corporation to provide a framework for its operation and management.

Bylaws may specify the qualifications, rights, and liabilities of membership, and the powers, duties, and grounds for the dissolution of an
