(NYSE:CDN), today announced the immediate availability of the Intel(R) IXP2800 design-in kit for Cadence high-speed design solutions printed circuit board (PCB) that include SPECCTRAQuest(R) Signal Integrity (SI) Expert and Allegro(R) PCB Design Expert, an integrated solution for high-speed PCB design and analysis. Cadence, a pioneer and continuing leader in the PCB design industry, assembled the Intel IXP2800 design-in kit using Intel data/IP. The new design-in kit can shorten systems companies' time to design-in the Intel(R) IXP2800 network processor on PCB systems by eight to 12 weeks.

In addition, the Intel IXP2800 design-in kit helps signal integrity and layout engineers by completing much of the design work for them by taking both SPECCTRAQuest learning and model-related issues out of the design cycle. Screenshots with detailed use instructions for SPECCTRAQuest further reduce the time to design-in the IXP2800 network processor.
