Cadec Corp. introduces Mobius TTS-32 portable onboard computer.

Cadec Corp., Londonderry, a leader in providing onboard logistics management to the transportation industry, has introduced the Mobius TTS-32 portable onboard computer, a rechargeable portable computer with the same computing power as the onboard Mobius TTS.

Primarily used in leased vehicles, the Mobius portable computer allows customers to receive the same benefits as the hardwired Mobius TTS, but with the convenience and portability to move from vehicle to vehicle. The Mobius TTS is a high-powered, onboard computer running on a Microsoft Windows CE platform. This system is used by various for-hire and private, fleets including food processing and distribution, petroleum distribution and production and retail and wholesale delivery.

"Once again we went to our customers and asked them what they wanted," stated Les Dole, president and CEO of Cadec Corp. "They wanted portability. Many fleets go through temporary increases in size to accommodate the busy seasons, a temporary contract, a one-time large shipment or for a variety of other reasons. Even though it's just a temporary increase in fleet size, those vehicles and drivers still have the same logistics and communications needs as the rest of the fleet.
