It opened in 1857 as Michigan Agricultural College, the first state agricultural college. has been awarded a grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF NSF - National Science Foundation ) to pursue a three year effort in developing advanced computing computing - computer tools to support the conceptual design process of converting metal assemblies into polymer composites.
