CacheFlow Inc. (Nasdaq:CFLO CFLO Central Florida Lyric Opera ), the leader in content-smart networking, today announced its use of EMC (1) (EMC Corporation, Hopkinton, MA, www.emc.com) The leading supplier of storage products for midrange computers and mainframes. Founded in 1979 by Richard J. Egan and Roger Marino, EMC has developed advanced storage and retrieval technologies for the world's largest companies.  CLARiiON(R) information storage as part of its new end-to-end solutions for storage, management and delivery of content from the data center to the network edge.

The combined solution offers enterprise and service provider customers "same-view" access to business-critical information at multiple points in the network. This solution enables enterprise customers the ability to simultaneously exchange and use information throughout their intranet and at remote office locations. Service provider customers and their end-users can extend their ability to scale business based on various information mediums including streaming, web, dynamic or application-based content.

CacheFlow is first offering a Content Synchronization module to CacheFlow's new cIQ(TM) Director, also announced today, to ensure that content changes on EMC CLARiiON(TM) information storage solutions are transparently updated to cIQ Edge Accelerators. This solution facilitates the delivery of business-critical information to the edge of a content delivery network.

CacheFlow and EMC's mutual customers can extend end-user reach and increase satisfaction, while driving new revenue opportunities by enabling new solutions such as distanced-based learning and training, highly available web hosting Making a Web site available on the Internet. Many ISPs host a few personal Web pages for an individual at no additional cost above the monthly service fee, but the address is subordinate to the ISP; for example, www.friendlyisp.com/pat_smith.  and acceleration, streaming content delivery networks and business to business content exchanges.
