Comparable store sales (sales for stores open at least one year or more) decreased 7% during the five week March 2003 period, as compared to the same period in 2002. Total sales for the five week period ended March 29, 2003 decreased $1.1 million or 5% to $21.1 million.

Comparable store sales decreased 3% during the 13 week period ended March 29, 2003, as compared to the same period in 2002. Total sales for the 13 week period remained unchanged at $47.6 million.

Mr. Brian Woolf, Cache's Chairman commented, "Due to a calendar change our March 2003 sales reporting period does not include the week of Easter, which was included in March's results last year and will be reported in April's results this year. As a result of the holiday shift this year, March and April sales results should be combined for a more meaningful comparison. We anticipate reporting first quarter results on or around May 8, 2003."
