Comparable store sales (sales for stores open at least one year or more) decreased 9% during the four week October 2001 period, as compared to the same period in 2000. Total sales for the four week period ended October 27, 2001 were $13.0 million as compared to $13.9 million, for the four week period in Fiscal 2000. Total sales for the forty-three week period ended October 27, 2001 were $140.7 million, as compared to $136.6 for the comparable period ended October 28, 2000, which represents an increase of $4.1 million or 3%. Comparable store sales increased 1% during the forty-three week period, as compared to the same period in Fiscal 2000.
