Comparable store sales (sales for stores open at least one year or more) increased 5% during the five week September 2000 period, as compared to the same period in 1999. Total sales for the five week period ended September 30, 2000 increased $1.5 million or 10% to $16.1 million, for the five week period. Total sales for the thirty-nine week period ended September 30, 2000 were $122.7 million, as compared to $110.8 for the comparable period ended October 2, 1999, which represents an increase of $11.9 million or 11%. Comparable store sales increased 3% during the thirty-nine week period, as compared to the same period in Fiscal 1999.
