Cache, Inc. Announces Launch of Cache.com.

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 17, 1999--

Cache Inc., (Nasdaq:CACH), a leading retailer of 191 women's apparel stores, specializing in day into evening sportswear, special occasion dresses and accessories, announced it has today launched a full scale e-commerce and fashion web site.

Chairman Andrew Saul commenting on the new "CACHE.COM" stated, "Cache has invested in and developed a superior women's fashion web site for the consumer; a site which we believe will provide the consumer easy navigation while viewing current fashions in the latest imaging technology. In the coming months we expect to announce several important marketing agreements and alliances with various web portals. Cache worked with SFI creative, a full service corporate imaging agency based in Soho, New York, to design this truly unique site. Cache partnering with SFI and Consonus, Inc., of Portland, Ore., developed the site utilizing the latest technology and superior graphics. Some of the features consumers will experience include 3-D imaging, fabric and detail zoom-in imaging, fashion advice, personalized shopping and events calendar, virtual catalog downloads, one click navigation and see-touch-try, which is the ability to schedule a personal fitting at a local Cache store of the items available on-line. Another advantage Cache brings to the web site is our established order fulfillment system. This system allows us to fill current customer special orders and e-commerce orders without the need for a distribution center. The customer gets the product on a timely basis and can interact with a local Cache store, if she needs to return or exchange merchandise.
