Commenting on Cabot MMD's decision to establish a direct presence in Korea and Park's recent appointment, Anderson stated, "Supporting Cabot's global growth strategy, Hogan will play a significant role in fostering Cabot's business opportunities in Korea and further augment our market share in this key geographic region." Anderson added, "Due to Korea's leading position in the DRAM market and the growing demand for our CMP products, it is imperative that we be in close proximity to our customers. Hogan's local presence will provide a vital link between our Korean customers' technology strategies and Cabot's R&D efforts." In his new position, Park is responsible for conducting and coordinating all business, sales, technical and support activities for Cabot's extensive line of CMP products in Korea. His charter includes providing comprehensive product and application support, working in close partnership with Cabot's existing customer base in Korea, and establishing and servicing new customer relationships in this region. A 13-year industry veteran, Park joins Cabot from SeoJin Scientific Co., Ltd., where he served as sales director. Park's career also includes positions at Therma-Wave Korea, Intraco Korea Corp. and Seoul Electron Ltd. Park received a bachelor's degree in electronics from Sogang University. He also has served in the Korean military.
