The system will enable the company to track the most frequent customer concerns and address them proactively. The company will also expand its corporate intranet and presence on the World Wide Web using an Oracle-based data warehouse and Developer/2000 enterprise development tool. Also this year, the company will deploy an executive information system to provide management with near- and real-time operational and financial information.

During the first quarter of 1997, Cablevision is expected to implement a new, integrated system comprised of Oracle Applications' full suite of client/server software, including Oracle Financials, Oracle Financial Analyzer, Oracle Purchasing and Oracle Order Entry modules.
