Cablevision Systems elects Vincent Tese to Board of Directors.


WOODBURY, N.Y.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 29, 1996--Cablevision Systems Corp. (ASE (Adaptive Server Enterprise) A relational DBMS from Sybase that runs on Windows NT/2000, Linux and a variety of Unix platforms. ASE is a comprehensive and robust data management product with a long history dating back to the late 1980s. :CVC See CSC. ) today announced Vincent Tese has been elected to its Board of Directors.

In 1976, Mr. Tese co-founded Cross Country Cable TV, which operated cable systems in New Jersey, Virginia, Illinois, Arizona and Puerto Rico. He also served as Chairman of Cross Country Wireless, a wireless cable operator which was sold to Pacific Telesis in July 1995. Currently, Mr. Tese is Chairman of Wireless Cable International Inc.

Mr. Tese also played an integral role in shaping the political landscape in New York New York, state, United States
New York, Middle Atlantic state of the United States. It is bordered by Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, and the Atlantic Ocean (E), New Jersey and Pennsylvania (S), Lakes Erie and Ontario and the Canadian province of

Appointed State Superintendent of Banks in 1983, Mr. Tese was named Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the Urban Development Corporation in March 1985.
