CableLabs(R) is moving to a new facility in Louisville, Colorado The City of Louisville (IPA: /'sɪti əv 'luːɪs,vɪl/) is a Home Rule Municipality of about 19,000 residents, located in Boulder County, Colorado, United States. , and its offices will be closed Thursday, January 15, and Friday, January 16. It is anticipated that CableLabs' Internet presence and voice mail services will remain operational for most of the period that its offices are closed. However, email services See Internet e-mail service.  will not be available to CableLabs staff during most of the period of office closure.

CableLabs is moving to allow for consolidation into one new building of staff now housed in two separate facilities. The new building, for which CableLabs has an 11-year lease, will offer larger and more varied laboratories for testing and evaluation.

Founded in 1988 by members of the cable television industry, Cable Television Laboratories is a non-profit research and development consortium that is dedicated to pursuing new cable telecommunications technologies and to helping its cable operator members integrate those advancements into their business objectives.
