("CSIX") is pleased to announce that the amalgamation amalgamation /amal·ga·ma·tion/ (ah-mal´gah-ma´shun) trituration (3). amalgamation ( of the two companies has been approved by their respective shareholders. The amalgamation is effective June 30, 1996. CSIX is proceeding to file all requirements with the regulatory bodies and intends to resume trading on the Canadian Canadian (kənā`dēən), river, 906 mi (1,458 km) long, rising in NE New Mexico. and flowing E across N Texas and central Oklahoma into the Arkansas River in E Oklahoma.
