"On behalf of the Board and all shareholders, I wish to acknowledge Guy's exceptional leadership in building Csii into a dynamic broadband communications company. Guy is an entrepreneur at heart, driven by a fierce determination and guided by a keen eye for creating value. He has been successful in Canada, Guadeloupe and Portugal - and we wish him well in his future ventures," said Mr. Belisle.

Commenting on his departure, Mr. Laflamme stated: "Since the annual meeting of May 2001, I have gradually withdrawn from operations to focus on business development. The national fiber ring network in Portugal is built, subscriber growth is accelerating, we turned EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization) A metric used to show a company's profitability, but not its cash flow. EBITDA became popular in the 1980s to show the potential profitability of leveraged buyouts, but has become  positive in the third quarter last year, and our subsidiary is doing well. As an entrepreneur, I'm satisfied that my job at Csii is done and I can now move on to new challenges."
