Cable Link Strengthens North American Presence With Acquisitions in Montreal and Los Angeles.

Cable Link, Inc. (OTCBB:CBLK), a subsidiary of A Novo, today announced the acquisitions of Montreal area based Valsystems and the Canoga Park, CA based Lavender Industries, Inc., dba Cablewise. The investments totaling approximately US$3,000,000 establish an operating base for Cable Link's North-Eastern American market in the Montreal region with Valsystems and the operating base for the Western American market in the Los Angeles region with Cablewise. It is worthwhile mentioning that A Novo, already present in 12 European countries and 2 South American countries, entered the North American market through its acquisition on August 7 of Cable Link, whose headquarters are located in Columbus, Ohio. Cable Link already has a service facility in Hollywood, Florida. Through Cable Link, A Novo will be able to service markets nationwide in the United States and Canada.

According to Mr. Louis Brunel, President and CEO of Cable Link and a partner in the A Novo venture that now controls Cable Link, the addition of these companies enables Cable Link to service its clients located in the North Eastern region of both Canada and the United States, and the South Eastern, South Western, Western and Mid Western regions of the United States.

Mr. Brunel added that Cable Link had recently concluded a strategic agreement with AFFI, a Montreal based organization which is specialized in the maintenance and repair of electronic equipment used in various telecommunication and cable distribution applications.

Cable Link is specialized in the maintenance, upgrade and repair of videocommunication equipment in the North American market, whereas A Novo is a leader in its field in Europe. The acquisition by Cable Link of Valsystems and Cablewise, which are engaged in the same business as Cable Link, and the strategic agreement with AFFI gives Cable Link access to approximately 300 additional people with whom to work, bringing the total number of Cable Link associates to 400 who are specialized in telecommunications equipment repair.

Cable Link offers maintenance, repair and other business solutions to cable operators with respect to both new and used equipment. A Novo, SA, based in Paris and listed on the Paris Stock Exchange "Nouveau Marche", currently forecasts revenues of approximately US$200 million for its fiscal year ending September 30, 2000, representing a 500% increase over the past two years. It has more than 3,000 employees. A Novo uses its own state-of-the-art facilities and processing know-how to diagnose, upgrade, recondition and repair large quantities of high-tech electronic equipment for payment terminals and for video communications, telecommunications and information technology applications.
