The rollout of more than 250 digital services will be delivered over its network on New Providence, Grand Bahama, Abaco and Eleuthera in The Bahamas.

To facilitate even greater bandwidth efficiency, Cable Bahamas opted to use EGT's ARIA Native Variable Bit Rate (VBR) encoding software. The superior encoding algorithms offered by ARIA provide an overall improved performance of 15 percent over traditional open-loop encoding architectures. This gain translates to improved effectiveness of all downstream equipment, providing superior video quality and significant bandwidth gains across the network.
