Cabinet approves national strategy to combat drugs.

JEDDAH: The Council of Ministers yesterday approved the national strategy to combat drugs and narcotics Drugs are articles that are intended for use in the diagnosis, cure, mitigation, treatment, or prevention of disease in humans or animals, and any articles other than food, water, or oxygen that are intended to affect the mental or body function of humans or animals. . "The anti-drug strategy aims at improving rehabilitation programs for drug addicts and developing regional and international cooperation to fight drugs," said Yousuf Al-Othaimeen, minister of social affairs and acting minister of culture and information, after a weekly Cabinet session in Riyadh.
