CabelTel International Corporation Receives Listing Standards Letter from AMEX.DALLAS -- CabelTel International Corporation (AMEX AMEX See: American Stock Exchange :GBR GBR Great Britain GBR United Kingdom (ISO Country code) GBR Great Barrier Reef GBR Gesellschaft Bürgerlichen Rechts GBR Global Broadband Roaming GBR Ground-Based Radar GBR Great Bear Rainforest ) ("the Company"), a Dallas-based company, today reported that it had received a notice from the American Stock Exchange American Stock Exchange (AMEX) Stock exchange in the U.S. Originally known as “the Curb,” it began as an outdoor marketplace in New York City c. 1850. It moved indoors to its present location in the Wall Street area in 1921. ("AMEX") advising that based on a review of the Company's Form 10-Q Form 10-Q See 10-Q. for the quarter ended June 30, 2006, AMEX believes the Company does not meet certain of the AMEX's continued listing standards as of this time. The notice advised that in the opinion of the AMEX, the Company is not in compliance with Section 1003(a)(i) of the Company Guide with shareholders equity of less than $2 million and losses from continuing operations continuing operations Parts of a business that are expected to be maintained as an ongoing segment of an overall business operation. Income and losses from continuing operations are reported separately if any segments have been discontinued during the and/or net losses in two out of its three most recent fiscal years and Section 1003(a)(ii) of the Company Guide with shareholder equity of less than $4 million and losses from continuing operations and/or net losses in three out of its four most recent fiscal years. In order to maintain its AMEX listing the Company must submit a plan by September 22, 2006 advising the AMEX of the action the Company has taken or will take that would bring it into compliance with the continuing listing standards identified within a maximum of 18 months of receipt of the AMEX notice.
