Former Welsh rugby captain Phil Davies Phil Davies (born 19 October 1963 in Seven Sisters, Wales) is a former Welsh rugby union player.

Phil Davies played his club rugby for Llanelli and enjoyed a distinguished 46 cap career for Wales between 1985 and 1995.
could soon be on his way back to Wales Wales, Welsh Cymru, western peninsula and political division (principality) of Great Britain (1991 pop. 2,798,200), 8,016 sq mi (20,761 sq km), west of England; politically united with England since 1536. The capital is Cardiff.  after a successful coaching spell at Leeds. Phil was spotted having breakfast with multi-millionaire Peter Thomas Peter Thomas may refer to:
  • Peter Thomas, Baron Thomas of Gwydir (born 1920) - Welsh Conservative politician.
  • Peter Thomas (television narrator) - American narrator of television programs
  • Peter Thomas (composer) - German composer/arranger
 - the money man behind Cardiff RFC. Our spies say the two men were deep in conversation and our guess is one of the topics was current Cardiff coach Rudy Joubert. Davies - capped 46 times by Wales - is known to pals as Tulip. Maybe he'll spring up at the club soon.
