(Nasdaq:CYDS CYDS Centre for Youth Drug Studies (Australia) ) today announced net sales Net Sales The amount a seller receives from the buyer after costs associated with the sale are deducted. Net sales for the fourth quarter increased 153% to $157.4 million from $62.3 million for the comparable prior year period. Of the $95.1 million increase in net sales, $34.7 million was generated from Fenn, Wright and Manson Man·son , Sir Patrick 1844-1922. Scottish parasitologist. On a per share basis, net income for the fourth quarter was $0.35 as compared to $0.30 for the comparable prior year period. The weighted average number of shares outstanding increased to 13,210,000 from 8,281,000. Net sales for the fiscal year ended January 28, 1995 increased 134% to $516.1 million from $220.2 million for the prior year. Of the $295.9 million increase in net sales, $119.5 million was generated from Fenn Wright and $42.4 million was generated from G.J.M. The balance of the increase in net sales of $134.0 million represents a 61% increase over the prior year. Net income for the fiscal year ended January 28, 1995 increased 76% to $10.8 million from $6.1 million last year. The fiscal year results include goodwill amortization of $2.5 million, or $0.21 per share. On a per share basis, net income for the year ended January 28, 1995 was $0.93, as compared to $0.92 for the prior year.
