CYGCOM Supporting the Microsoft Speech Server Platform as a Microsoft OEM with SpeechWatch Monitoring and Alarming Console and eSupport Offering.


PHOENIX and TORONTO -- CYGCOM today announced its new status as a Microsoft(R) Platinum OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) The rebranding of equipment and selling it. The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and  for the Microsoft Speech Server The Microsoft Speech Server is a product from Microsoft designed to allow the authoring and deployment of IVR applications incorporating Speech Recognition, Speech Synthesis and DTMF. . Through CYGCOM, channel partners can now acquire pre-configured and fully integrated, Microsoft Speech Server based system on an industry standard open computing platform - UNYCOM(TM). CYGCOM & Microsoft will promote the Microsoft Speech Server based UNYCOM systems providing the channel with a knowledgeable source for system assembly, field services, channel support, and on-site maintenance through CYGCOM's systems integration facilities in Phoenix and Toronto. CYGCOM has taken the complexity out of the systems integration and provided channel customers with a new ease of procurement.

In addition, CYGCOM also announced the availability of SpeechWatch(TM) as a Monitoring & Alarming agent for the Microsoft Speech Server environment. The SpeechWatch(TM) Console monitors utility computing and Intel telephony resources within the Speech Server computing network using industry standards - Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP (Simple Network Management Protocol) A widely used network monitoring and control protocol.
