CYCLING CHAMP TO STOP AT GALA LEMOND 3-TIME WINNER OF TOUR.

Kozo Shimano, vice president of Shimano American Corp., legendary for bicycle design, also will be a guest.

The banquet, starting with a 6 p.m. cocktail hour, will be held at Robinson Ranch ranch, large farm devoted chiefly to raising and breeding cattle, horses, sheep, and goats. The cattle ranch was introduced from Latin America to Texas and the plains of the W United States and Canada.  in Sand Canyon. Following the cocktail hour will be dinner, presentations on the cycling world and an opportunity to ask questions of LeMond and Shimano. Tickets for the event are $100 per person.

 to win the Tour de France bicycling championship. He went on to win again in 1989, and for a third time in 1990. LeMond has been named one of Sports Illustrated's 40 most influential people in sports in the past 40 years and is a member of the Cycling Hall of Fame.

LeMond and Shimano will share their stories about the cycling world.

The event is the first as the city hosts the Stage 6 finish of the Tour of California. Other events are planned the following day, including a family bike ride, events for youths and a health fair.
