to market its electronic stethoscope stethoscope (stĕth`əskōp') [Gr.,=chest viewer], instrument that enables the physican to hear the sounds made by the heart, the lungs, and various other organs. The earliest stethoscope, devised by the French physician R. T. H. . The stethoscope will be integrated with the Electronic HouseCall(TM) System family of products and will provide the industry with an economically priced tool with several technological advantages over current industry offerings.

Developed internally by CyberCare Technologies, the electronic stethoscope's advantages include its competitive pricing, superior frequency range, and its status as the only packet network-based stethoscope on the market today. CyberCare Technologies has filed a patent on the application technology for the stethoscope.

Packet technology benefits system users by simultaneously transmitting data received from the stethoscope along with voice and visual information. All information is received in real-time by the caregiver and is available to payors and caregivers through the secure CYBeR-CARE network. Caregivers can measure results against historical data, from the stethoscope and other monitoring tools available on the Electronic HouseCall System to enable them to deliver better care and more effective disease management treatment.

"We are pleased to be able to announce the FDA approval for our electronic stethoscope," said Mike Lemnitzer, Vice President of Business Development, CyberCare Technologies. "This tool enhances our product and raises the bar on such offerings in the telehealth marketplace. By making superior technology available, we not only improve what's accessible to chronically ill patients, we also expand the possibilities for future innovations in the telehealth space."

The product underwent clinical trials at the nationally renowned Sheppard Spinal Center in Atlanta and will be available for shipment in January.
