CYBEX TO OPEN FIVE SALES OFFICES IN EUROPE; Products to be supplied from Cybex's New Irish Plant.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 7, 1997--Cybex Computer Products Corporation (Nasdaq/NM:CBXC) today announced that it will open sales offices in London, Paris, Brussels, Aachen, and Munich to serve the UK, French, Benelux, and northern and southern German markets respectively. All of the offices are scheduled to open by April 1, 1997. These offices extend Cybex's service and support of its European distributors, resellers and OEMs in their native languages. Sales, marketing, and customer support for other European countries will be managed from the Company's wholly-owned subsidiary, Cybex Europe Ltd. in Shannon, Ireland.

Cybex began shipping products from its Shannon, Ireland plant in late December 1996, providing the Company with its first manufacturing facility outside the United States. The Shannon facility will manufacture and distribute Cybex's proprietary KVM switch and extension products primarily for resellers and distributors in Europe.
