CYBEX ANNOUNCES NEW AUTOVIEW KVM SWITCH; On-Screen Control Feature Embedded in Reduced Size Keyboard/Video/Mouse (KVM) Switch.

HUNTSVILLE, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 20, 1996--CYBEX Computer Products Corporation (Nasdaq/NM:CBXC) announced today its new AutoView keyboard/video/mouse (KVM) switch. AutoView represents a breakthrough in KVM switch price/performance, with an unmatched combination of features and price.

AutoView is available in 4- or 8-server port configurations and is expandable up to 64 servers. The new AutoView has Cybex's on-screen display technology embedded into the unit allowing on-screen computer selection through an easy to use menuing system. AutoView also supports hot pluggable connections, allowing LAN servers to be connected to the switch without removing power from the switch or rebooting already-attached servers. Its reduced size and 1.75" height is ideally suited to both desktop and rack-mount applications. Suggested list price is $895 for an 8-port AutoView and $795 for the 4-port version. Initial shipments are planned for late September.
