CYBEX ANNOUNCES NEW AUTOVIEW KVM SWITCH; On-Screen Control Feature Embedded in Reduced Size Keyboard/Video/Mouse (KVM) Switch.


HUNTSVILLE, Ala.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 20, 1996--CYBEX Computer Products Corporation (Nasdaq/NM:CBXC) announced today its new AutoView keyboard/video/mouse (KVM (K Virtual Machine) A version of the Java Virtual Machine for small devices with limited memory. See J2ME. See also KVM switch.

Its reduced size and 1.75" height is ideally suited to both desktop and rack-mount applications. Suggested list price is $895 for an 8-port AutoView and $795 for the 4-port version. Initial shipments are planned for late September.

The AutoView KVM switch is the latest member of the Cybex family of switches. Others include the AutoBoot, Personal, Slimline, and Magnum Commander single-user switches, and the 1xP/4xP multiuser Two or more users.  and multiplatform switches. Cybex's installed base includes tens of thousands of these switches with a proven record of reliability meeting customers' needs. AutoView continues this tradition.
