``We have been fortunate to have highly motivated and dedicated individuals join our volunteer program year after year,'' said Sharon Walsh, the manager of volunteer services. ``It is the type of dedication that makes the X Games such a success.''

Information on volunteering for the event can be found at the U.S. Soccer Federation's home site (www.ussoccer.com) or by e-mailing the U.S. Soccer Human Resources Department at wwcvolunteers(at)ussoccer.org with your resume, name, address, phone number and previous event experience.

Those registered at the ussoccerfan.com Web site also will have the first opportunity to purchase tickets for the World Cup. Details will be announced shortly.

Starting bids on game-used pucks are $49, and pucks that went into the net start at $99. By the time bids reach the end, however, they often are going from $150 to more than $600, depending on when they were used and who scored with them.
