CYBEROPTICS CORPORATION ANNOUNCES FILING WITH THE SECURITIES AND EXCHANGE COMMISSION OF OFFERING OF 1,250,000 SHARES OF COMMON STOCK.

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 10, 1995-- CyberOptics Corporation (NASDAQ/NMS: CYBE) announced that it filed a registration statement today with the Securities and Exchange Commission relating to a proposed offering of 1,250,000 shares of its common stock (up to 187,500 additional shares may be offered solely to cover over allotments, if any). 50,000 of the shares are being offered by a stockholder of the Company.

Proceeds to the Company from the sales of the shares will be used for working capital associated with expanded sales, research and development and other general corporate purposes. The Company will not receive any proceeds from sales by the selling stockholder. Alex. Brown & Sons, Robertson, Stephens & Company and Piper Jaffray Inc. are serving as representatives of the underwriters for the offering.

The Company designs, manufactures and markets intelligent non- contact sensors and integrated systems that measure the minute characteristics, dimensions and distances required for process and quality control of complex manufactured goods.
