CYBERDREAMS HIRES ELIZABETH OLSON TO MARKET NEW 1996 LINE-UP

LOS ANGELES, April 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Paul Licari, president of Cyberdreams, Inc., today announced the appointment of Elizabeth Olson as Director of Marketing Communications. Olson is moving to Cyberdreams from Virgin Interactive Entertainment, where she served as Public Relations Manager.

Ms. Olson will be responsible for both product and corporate communications, as well as marketing and merchandising campaigns and materials for Cyberdreams' 1996 product line of entertainment CD-ROM software. That line includes NOIR, a black and white detective thriller, REVERENCE, Cyberdreams' first fantasy-action title, and THE INCREDIBLE SHRINKING CHARACTER, an action-adventure title developed in collaboration with GO-GO Interactive.

"I was fortunate enough to have been involved with the roll-out of such high-profile products as THE LION KING for SNES and Genesis, DEMOLITION MAN for 3DO, and THE DAEDALUS ENCOUNTER and COMMAND & CONQUER for CD-ROM," said Olson. "I hope to apply the experience gained working on these and many other titles to Cyberdreams' dynamic product line".

Ms. Olson grew up in the Minneapolis area. She attended Gustavus Adolphus College in St. Peter, Minnesota, graduating with a BA in Speech and Communications. From 1990 to 1994, Olson worked for Funco, Inc. She aided in the roll-out of their first retail stores and served as their Advertising Coordinator before being promoted to Executive Editor and co-founding Game Informer Magazine.

Licari said, "Cyberdreams is poised to have a very exciting year and we see Elizabeth as an important part of our team. Her diverse background and knowledge of the industry will be a strong asset in expanding our reach with these titles."

Cyberdreams, Inc. has gained worldwide recognition with its fantasy and science-fiction games, such as DARK SEED I and II, featuring the macabre visual style of H.R. Giger ("Species" and "Alien"), and I HAVE NO MOUTH, AND I MUST SCREAM, based on the short story of the same title by Harlan Ellison. Cyberdreams creates sophisticated, interactive entertainment for the PC and Macintosh on CD-ROM, utilizing talent from the fields of computer programming, cinema, television, animation, music and art.
