Pacific Trading Card company (http://www.pacifictradingcards.com) has figured out a way to put out the first baseball card that incorporates the Internet.

Its 750-card series, out since mid-August and called Online ($1.49 a pack), includes both the players' Web-site address and the team's official Web address with each card. One of the nine cards per pack stamped in gold foil has an eight-digit alphanumeric code

Side note on the set: It's the first to include every major-league player from the start of issue, making it the largest set of single series ever.
