CYA Delivers HOTBackup Enterprise 3.3; Offers Support for EMC Documentum 5.3; Adds New Enhancements.

TRUMBULL, Conn. -- CYA Technologies, Inc., a leading provider of business continuity solutions, today announced the availability of CYA HOTBackup(TM) Enterprise 3.3 which offers support for EMC Documentum Content Server through release 5.3 and adds new enhancements.

CYA HOTBackup ensures that organizations using enterprise content management systems (ECMs) can quickly and easily recover both mission critical documents and their associated workflow intelligence without having to do full system restores. It augments traditional back-up systems by minimizing the data loss window from days to minutes to meet corporation's increasingly more demanding recovery point objectives (RPO). Companies also improve on their recovery time objectives (RTO) by more than 40% because the dynamic recovery process occurs without taking their ECMs offline. There is no productivity loss because only the specific lost or corrupted document and its workflow intelligence and metadata are being restored.

--New Roll Forward Restore option reduces errors and ensures success in a disaster recovery scenario by predefining those restore options that should be selected when recovering with traditional technologies and CYA HOTBackup

--New MaxTime parameter allow users to specify how long the backup job should run to prevent backup failure when there is a scheduled shutdown of the docbases to perform a cold backup or perform maintenance

--Granular notifications give increased control to administrators to receive distinct alerts upon a backup job's successful completion or failure

--Individual compression parameters allow users to enable compression for journal files, content files or both to give greater control over processing time and storage resources
