CVI Announces High Energy Variable Beamsplitters.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- CVI announced today that it has introduced a new line of variable beamsplitters for high energy applications. The ABSO beamsplitter assembly utilizes an optically contacted PBSO polarizer cube and a QWPM multiple-order quartz half waveplate to achieve continuously variable transmission from 1-95% for both UV and high energy VIS-NIR lasers. It can be used as an adjustable ratio beamsplitter, attenuator or beam combiner, or as a telecommunications component in tunable photonic notch filters.
