CVI 2006 Catalog for Optical Components and Assemblies is Available Now.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- CVI CVI C (Language) Virtual Instrument
CVI Clinical and Vaccine Immunology (journal)
CVI Chronic Venous Insufficiency
CVI Coastal Vulnerability Index
CVI Canaan Valley Institute
announces the publication of its 2006 Catalog for Optical Components and Assemblies. The catalog designed by engineers and for engineers features the CVI "Build your Own Optic" ordering system which allows engineers the ability to specify virtually any wavelength, on any substrate, and of any size.

CVI is pleased to announce that in this catalog we have been able to raise our laser damage threshold for our 10-5 surface quality BK7 and fused silica fused silica
n.

lenses and windows to over 15 J/cm2. We have similarly increased laser damage threshold on our SF11 components such as singlet lenses and multi-element lenses, on turning and dispersing prisms, plate and cube beamsplitters, and laser mirrors.

To better support our European and Asia-Pacific customers, we have increased the number of components available in 25 mm and 50 mm sizes.

Other major additions include:

--37,000 new options for partial reflectors and output couplers

--More than 1,000 CVI QuantaGlas(TM) lenses for imaging and low power applications

--4,000 CVI JouleOptik(TM) laser grade mirrors and output couplers for high energy and laser cavity applications

--IR lenses, windows, mirrors and filters for infrared imaging and low power applications

--High OD Filters for fluorescence, raman spectroscopy Raman spectroscopy is a spectroscopic technique used in condensed matter physics and chemistry to study vibrational, rotational, and other low-frequency modes in a system.[1] , and biophysics biophysics, application of various methods and principles of physical science to the study of biological problems. In physiological biophysics physical mechanisms have been used to explain such biological processes as the transmission of nerve impulses, the muscle  applications

--Fiber laser optics including mirrors, antireflection coatings for singlet lenses, multi-element focusing lenses, and windows

--F-Theta flat field lenses for laser material processing applications

--Low dispersion polymer waveplates

--Ring-spaced etalons

--Even more metric optical mounts

CVI's online catalog Similar to an online library or databases in the information storage respect, ‘’’online catalogs’’’ allow potential customers to browse a company’s items for sale from a different location using the internet. , www.cvilaser.com, has been updated to include the new products, improved specifications, and now with more information on custom fabrication fabrication (fab´rikā´shn),
n the construction or making of a restoration.
, coating and finishing capabilities.

Serving semiconductor, biotech, industrial, commercial, aerospace and research industries, CVI combines 30 years of optics manufacturing expertise with precision machining and mechanical design to produce integrated opto-mechanical assemblies. CVI is a leading manufacturer of optical components, providing engineering, rapid prototype delivery, high-volume production, and system integration for challenging optical requirements.
