CVI 2006 Catalog for Optical Components and Assemblies is Available Now.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. -- CVI announces the publication of its 2006 Catalog for Optical Components and Assemblies. The catalog designed by engineers and for engineers features the CVI "Build your Own Optic" ordering system which allows engineers the ability to specify virtually any wavelength, on any substrate, and of any size.

CVI is pleased to announce that in this catalog we have been able to raise our laser damage threshold for our 10-5 surface quality BK7 and fused silica lenses and windows to over 15 J/cm2. We have similarly increased laser damage threshold on our SF11 components such as singlet lenses and multi-element lenses, on turning and dispersing prisms, plate and cube beamsplitters, and laser mirrors.

To better support our European and Asia-Pacific customers, we have increased the number of components available in 25 mm and 50 mm sizes.
